Attending YESS

Daily Schedule

All YESS participants are required to attend all scheduled program activities including courses, workshops, lectures and field trips.

Weekdays (Typical Day)

9am - 12pm   Neuroscience Course (lecture and daily labs)
12pm - 1pm   Lunch
1pm - 4pm   Physics Course (lecture, problem solving sessions, and labs)
4pm - 6pm   Break or scheduled workshop/lecture
6pm - 7pm   Dinner

Evenings

Most students attend office hours for homework help or work with groups to complete assignments. Students may also go to the gym or participate in other recreational activities.

11pm   Check-in. All students must be in the dorm by this time.

Weekends

No classes are held on weekends. Students attend field trips and recreational activities. Group project work may be scheduled for weekends.
